Because several apparently unrelated systems had failed at the same time, diagnosis focused on the vehicle communication network rather than treating each system as an individual fault.
Testing identified a faulty auxiliary heater module disrupting CAN bus communication. One defective module was affecting communication across multiple vehicle systems.
The affected circuits and CAN network were accessed and systematically tested to isolate the module responsible for the communication failure. The auxiliary heater module was identified as the source of the fault.
The source of the CAN bus disruption was identified, allowing normal communication between the affected vehicle systems to be restored.
One bad module can take the whole network down. Diagnosis matters.

Complex electrical faults need structured testing, not guesswork.
